We have roots at the University of Denver where we each earned our doctorates in clinical psychology. We landed at the same Denver-based partial hospitalization program and worked together closely for five years. We bonded over shared values, similar approaches to therapy, and created a strong friendship. Together we bring a combined 30 years of experience guiding individuals during important change in their lives and we look forward to continuing our work serving the Denver area.

Social justice is embedded in her work and she strives to help clients critically think about the various systems that have shaped and influenced their experiences. In therapy, Dr. Batson uses an integrated approach grounded in psychodynamic, interpersonal, ACT and cognitive-behavioral principles to match the unique needs of each individual. She also recently completed training in Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
